Just a day after Johnny Depp won the defamation case between himself and ex-wife, Amber Heard, the 58-year-old actor took to the stage in England along with Jeff Beck, his friend. “What a result. What a result,” Beck said as he and Depp embraced.
The crowd could not hide their excitement as Depp arrived on the right side of the stage. Fans cheered and clapped as they watched the star perform. He played his guitar as he sang “What’s going on” by Mavin Gaye’s and “Little wing” by Jimi Hendrix.

Irish singer Sharon Corr was present at the show and she showed that she supported Depp as she said, “pleasure to see Johnny tell his truth. The truth will always come out as they say.” The Thursday show was the third time Depp and Beck would be seen together as he joined Beck on stage at Sheffield City Hall on Sunday and at Royal Albert Hall on Monday.
Depp and Beck are expected to continue their tour in the Uk before they move on to Scandinavia, Italy and France. The Pirates of the Caribbean star had sued his ex-wife $50 Million in damages for defaming him in 2018 when she said she was a victim of domestic abuse.
Although she did not mention Depp’s name, his career seemed to take a blow due to this. Amber Heard then went ahead to countersue asking for $100 million in damages because she felt Depp tried to discredit her and, in the process, harmed her career and reputation.
The case dragged on for a while and on June 1, the Jury reached a verdict where Depp won all his defamation claims against Heard and was awarded $15 million in damages. Amber on the other hand won just one of her three claims and received $2 million in damages. In reacting to the verdict delivered, Depp said “the Jury gave me my life back. I am truly humbled” Heard also shared a statement which showed that she was “heartbroken” at the turn of events.
