Want it, or not, you can admit that at one point in the past month you thought about the trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, and you took sides with one, or the other.
Johnny Depp sues his ex-spouse Amber Heard for defamation and demands $50 million, and Amber Heard countersues him for $100 million claiming that she is a victim of domestic violence.
“That’s A Beast Of A Woman” – Joe Rogan Admires Johnny Depp’s Lawyer Camille Vasquez
The past week we witness the closing arguments for both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard as the judge Penney Azcarate dismisses the jury of the defamation trial for the three-day holiday weekend.
All of us witness that the real star of the trials is Johnny Depp’s young, but highly capable lawyer Camille Vasquez. She fought during the whole trial and showed an immense will to end the case in her client’s favor.
The world follows the trial closely. The live broadcast of the trials enables a seat amongst the jurors for the broad public. Joe Rogan is not an exclusion to the followers of the ongoing trial.
It happens regularly for the past month that the defamation trial is one of the topics for the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast episodes. In recent filming of an episode, the podcaster makes a conclusion regarding the trial situation.
Even though he at first couldn’t remember the lawyer’s name, the color UFC commentator quickly remembers it and praises her skills.
“I should also apologize to the lawyer Camille. Her name is Camille. I referred to her as Claire before. She’s amazing. That lady is incredible. I apologize to her for fucking up her name. That woman’s a beast. When she’s questioning Heard over whether or not she gave her money away, it’s amazing.” – Joe Rogan says.
The trial lasts for six full weeks. For six full weeks, it is a top topic for many newsletters, blogs, and tabloids. Now, when the world is ready for a case ending and a final result, the jury says that it might take up to another six weeks for deliberation before delivering a verdict.
Joe Rogan’s siding is evident since the first time he mentions the trial. He refers to Amber Heard as a ‘crazy lady’ and confronts her for destroying Johnny Depp’s life. He says that even if Depp loses the case, he thoroughly understands his reasons for suing.
“I think he wanted to, he wanted people to see what a relationship with Amber is. Showing us, ‘This is what I was dealing with. This is the craziness, now you see.’” – Rogan says and adds – “He probably knew. When people would see and hear her they would immediately know who the abuser is.”
The only thing that remains now is to see what the judge and jury will say after these six long weeks that follow. Will Johnny Depp win the case? Will she take another $100 million from him?
