Piers Morgan has never been one to shy away from controversy. If anything, Piers enjoys provoking an argument between himself and the woke left and takes any opportunity to do so.
Piers recently took to Instagram to share a picture of a newspaper with the attention-grabbing headline, “JK Rowling is wrong – a woman can have a penis’. The article, written by Labour MP Stella Creasy, insists that a person who possesses male genitalia can somehow be a female. Unamused by the utter absurdity of it all, Piers posted the caption, “Read this headline and work out who you think is not just wrong but insane”.
Piers Morgan Challenges Newspaper Headline That Suggests ‘A Woman Can Have A Penis’
It goes without saying that Piers’ Instagram became the catalyst for absolute mayhem in an already heated debate regarding biological gender and what many refer to as ‘gender identity’. While the majority of the comments on his post were in his favor, he successfully enraged his adversaries.
The newspaper article in question further attacks the opinion of Harry Potter author JK Rowling, has been labeled as ‘transphobic’ over her views on the male and female sex. Rowling once tweeted, “People who menstruate’. I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?” One simple tweet sparked a considerable amount of outrage, and many called for her to be ‘canceled’ because they disagreed with her thoughts.
Stella Creasy made her stance clear in the article she penned, saying, “Do I think some women were born with penises? Yes. But they are now women and I respect that.” before arguing, “JK Rowling doesn’t support self-identification whereas I do.”
“I am somebody who would say that a trans woman is an adult human female. I would say that you and I were adult human females,” Creasy elaborated. She also went tit-for-tat with Piers Morgan on Twitter. “Tbh @piersmorgan hard to take lectures from someone about right and wrong whose team tried to get me to go on your talk show to talk about IF sexual harassment should be made a crime. It already is in case you’re confused,” she tweeted.
“That was about wolf whistling, which isn’t a crime yet,” Piers shot back. “But to be honest, if you think women have penises, you probably wouldn’t have been a good fit for that debate,” he said.
Piers stood firm in his belief that women absolutely cannot have a penis in an opinion piece for Sky News. In the article, Piers wrote, “A woman is an adult female who does not have a penis. This is not something that should even be debated, it’s a simple biological fact.”
“In a free society, you should be able to “identify” as whatever you please… but that doesn’t mean the rest of us have to buy into it, or that society has to change all the rules to suit your latest identity whim and fancy…You can’t refute basic scientific sexual physiology, however loudly you scream or try to bully and cancel people who say you can,” Piers contended.
