The family of Councilman, Marcus Epps is a fascinating one on ‘Seeking Sister Wife’. He faced a lot of criticism due to his numerous scandals which should have made him leave the show. Now, it seems his wife, Taryn Lindsey is involved.

Taryn and Marcus met at the college and they later got married after convincing her that he’s ready to settle. Taryn left the marriage after a decade due to the philandering nature of Marcus and his multiple sexual escapades. She took their daughter with her. Not long, he met India, courted and engaged her.

Surprisingly, Taryn Lindsey wanted to come back after a year, Marcus obliged but wanted both women, his decision didn’t go down well with them. Eventually, he was able to convince them. Marcus Epps had a lot of irregularities in the past, Fans wanted him off the show when lots of these scandals started unravelling, such as a house fire that happened in his home which included housing violations but he defended himself that the search warrant issued was a political ploy to get him to resign.
He came up with lots of excuses but his defense was weak that the whole issue escalated.
Besides the house fire, Marcus had issues with tax payment, he owed 12k property taxes since 2019 which he denied; this alone is enough to get him out of office. In 2020, a YouTuber “Backwoods Barbi” reported a murder that occurred at an after-hour club he operated.
The details were sketchy but Starcasm has shed light on it. In October of the same year, a shooting case which later turned to a murder case because one of the victims later died happened in Cleverland club and the incident was later linked to Taryn and Marcus; he was seen in a footage carrying a woman who was shot in the leg outside the club with a man.
He later revealed had the lease to the establishment. The couple’s involvement in the case has been unresolved and a follower said Marcus is still in office.
