Chuck Lorre, best known for creating hit television shows such as The Big Bang Theory and Two And A Half Men has filed for divorce from his wife, Arielle Lorre. Their split may not come as a huge shock considering Chuck, 69, and Arielle, 36, have a significant age-gap of more than three-decades. The highly successful Golden Globe winner cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as his reason for requesting a divorce, noting that he and Arielle had parted ways in May after marrying in October of 2018.
The former pair confirmed their breakup in a joint statement, saying, “It is with mutual consideration and respect that we have decided to separate. Our plan is to move forward in different directions but with great love, admiration and gratitude for the time we shared,” they added. “We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your support.”
