It is no secret that Britney has been a victim of the industry during her conservatorship which blighted her for 13 years.
During the course of that process, the musician was dogged by incessant media intrusion, as well as documentaries being made on her behalf.
And the documentaries particularly got on Britney’s nerves, as she previously spoke about how they ended up doing her more damage, as well as not having been discussed with her in order to get the requisite permission.
With that being said, Britney did not hold back on her disgust for Hollywood. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she said: “I’d rather hang out with homeless people than the people in Hollywood … JUST SAYING !!!!”
These comments made by Britney may explain why she has not made a return to the music industry. Now that she no longer has the constraints of the conservatorship, there were question marks over whether she would return to the stage.
But if that is how she feels about the entertainment industry in general, then it is probably wise that she keeps herself away from it as much as possible.
This is particularly true as she is now happily married to Sam Asghari, as the couple plan on having children at some point in the future. The fans on social media resonated with what Britney had to say.
They understood that she had seen the darker side of fame that comes with showbiz, and she ultimately had to do what made her happy. One person wrote: “Hollywood is so incestuous.
“I wouldn’t want to hangout with them either. Love you B,” while another person stated: “I agree. Hollywood seems cool when you’re a kid. The glitz and glam, the parties and your name up in lights.
