Another day, another gaffe from USA President Joe Biden. In his most recent gaffe, he says that he has cancer during a speech that took place on the 20th of July.
On Wednesday the president of the United States makes a shocking statement that sent the white house in an unpleasant place – to cover his speech slips once again.

The 79-year-old President with questionable cognitive activity made a comment that raise the eyebrows of everyone present at the speech. While in Somerset, Massachusetts, President Biden needed to address the climate crisis, reflect on the White House’s concerns about it and inform the public about the investments that he plans to do. However, as usual, he went further on to hold a longer speech. As a result, he got his tongue scrambled again and told the world that he has cancer. The gaffe happens as Joe Biden is telling a story of how his mother drove him to school when he was a child.
“And because it was a four-lane highway that was accessible, my mother drove us rather than us be able to walk.” – the President said. “And guess what? The first frost, you know what was happening? You had to put on your windshield wipers to get literally the oil slick off the window. That’s why I and so damn many other people I grew up with have cancer, and why, for the longest time, Delaware had the highest cancer rate in the nation.”
The other side of the gaffe reveals itself when the internet finds out that the President used the exact same story to refer to asthma once before.
“I went to a small little school that was about a mile from the apartment complex we lived in. A little school called Holy Rosary.” – The president says in 2020. “And you couldn’t walk to school. Because although it was a four-lane access highway it was just too dangerous to cross some of the streets. And my mother would get … and when it came spring … I mean, when it came the fall – this is the God’s truth – you’d get in the car with a little frost on the window, turn on the windshield wiper there’d be an oil slick, not a joke. I have asthma and 80 percent of the people who in fact we grew up with have asthma.”
The White House officials come to the president’s rescue for the zillionth time. But this time instead of clarifying things by denying his speech in total, they decide to back him up by claiming that he had ’skin cancer’ before taking office.
It is no secret that even Democrats are lately siding with the opinion that Joe Biden is too old to be President. You have to be completely ignorant not to see this.
Biden turns 80 the following November. He is already the oldest person to be elected president in the history of the US. However, this does not stop his desire to run for president again in 2024.
“He’s fit to be President right now. But he’s too old for the next election.” – this is the statement released in the Atlantic. They are a magazine that sharply criticizes right-wing claims that Biden is suffering from dementia. The Atlantic has a label of a magazine inclining to the left-wing of the American political scene. This statement and these results from the poll indicate a shift in Biden’s support from the people.
Fueling this, there are polls that took place in recent months that suggest his time is over. A New York Times poll from earlier in July shows that more than 60% of Democrats would prefer someone else as a candidate for president in the upcoming elections. The reason for this way of thinking according to the majority of the people involved in the poll is the president’s age.
Below the results of the poll, the New York Times magazine states that as conclusion of the poll, “Mr. Biden’s age has become an uncomfortable issue for him and his party”. Furthermore, they state that the White House has become extremely protective of the President when he makes such gaffes. Some even view their position as being anxious.
“Climate change … is literally, not figuratively, a clear and present danger.” – President Biden says. “The health of our citizens and our communities is literally at stake … Our national security is at stake as well … And our economy is at risk. So we have to act.”
He continues to reveal his plan to put aside $2.3 billion that are ought to be used as a fund for ‘fighting’ climate change.
“Congress is not acting as it should. This is an emergency and I will look at it that way. As President, I’ll use my executive powers to combat the climate crisis.” – He wraps up his speech. “I will do everything in my power to clean our air and water. To protect our people’s health, to win the clean energy future … Our children and grandchildren are counting on us. Not a joke.”
The White House backs up Joe Biden’s statements saying that they look to turn the climate crisis into an opportunity. They plan on creating “high-paying vacancies in clean energy and lowering costs for families.” They claim that the administration had already started the process of integrating such opportunities. For example, the place where President Biden holds his speech is a former coal power plant. Now, after conversion, it functions as a cable manufacturing factory.
