Emily Ratajkowski has called it quits with Sebastian Bear-McClard after numerous reports of him being a ‘serial cheater’. While neither party has submitted divorce paperwork to the courts just yet, it’s been confirmed from multiple sources that the model walked out on her film producer husband after becoming privy to his flagrant infidelity.
Ratajkowski married Bear McClard at a New York City courthouse in 2018 after only a few short weeks of dating. While news of their nuptials seemed a bit sudden, Emily once elaborated on their courtship, saying, “We knew each other for a long time before and he likes to joke ‘yeah everyone thinks we got married quickly, but you vetted me for two years”.
Emily Ratajkowski Splits From ‘Serial Cheater’ Husband Sebastian Bear-McClard After 4 Years Of Marriage
The couple share a one-year-old son, Sylvester Apollo. “They split recently. It was Em’s decision. She is doing okay. She is strong and focused on her son. She loves being a mom,” revealed an insider, who also revealed that Emily plans to file for divorce. As for Emily’s estranged husband, the source had some less than kind words. “Yeah, he cheated. He’s a serial cheater. It’s gross. He’s a dog.”
Speculation over a possible split has been buzzing ever since Emily was spotted without her wedding ring in recent Instagram photos and paparazzi snapshots. The couple were last seen together in June while vacationing in Italy on Porto Ercole beach and they showed no apparent signs of conflict.
But to further flame the fires of conjecture, social media star Claudia Oshry also commented on the couple’s impending divorce during an episode of The Morning Toast podcast, revealing that seemingly everyone was aware that Ratajkowski’s husband had been two-timing her. “’It’s, like, known that her husband has cheated on her and they’re filing for divorce,” she said.
Ratajkowski, who published a book called ‘My Body’ last year largely about the perils of being too beautiful for her own good, has spoken out about being objectified and mistreated by men for most of her life. Although she eventually went on to settle down with Sebastian Bear-McClard, her initial instinct told her that something about him was untrustworthy.
“Women always know, come on—what? I was always like, Okay, probably shouldn’t hang out with that guy alone,” Emily once surmised during an interview with Busy Phillips on her now-defunct talk show, ‘Busy Tonight’. But Emily refused to listen to her better judgment, admitting, “And then, next thing, I’m at the courthouse getting married”.
