Meghan Markle had gone out for some drinks and maybe more with golfer Rory Mcllroy.
Meghan Markle Got ‘Close’ To Golfer Rory Mcllroy- ‘The Two Went To The Fitzpatrick Hotel For A Drink, A Hectic Night’
That is according to Royal author Tom Bower’s book called ‘Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsor’s.’ This incident was alleged to have occurred in 2014 when Meghan met Rory, while she was staying with a friend.
And as they got to know each other, Rory decided to nominate Meghan for the well-known ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The Duchess of Sussex agreed to do it provided that Rory poured the water on her.
And by the looks of it, Rory agreed to the conditions. In the pictures here, we can see that Rory has poured the water over Meghan’s head. She has a massive smile on her face, which is a combination of shock caused by the water falling.
Thereafter, it is alleged that the pair went out for some drinks. In his book, Tom wrote: “She accepted the challenge, on condition that Rory came to her friend’s apartment and personally poured the bucket over her on the balcony.
“After the video was posted, the two went to the Fitzpatrick hotel for a drink.” There were some consequences to this, however. Rory happened to have had a golf tournament the next day.
But as he had been drinking the night before, it appears that this had an impact on his performance. So much so that he ended up being towards the very back of the leaderboard.
Tom’s following comments confirmed as much: “The following morning, McIlroy arrived at the Ringwood golf course to play in a new competition. Worse for wear after a hectic night, he fell back to 101st place.”
It is not clear if Meghan and Rory are still on good terms, but in any event, the Duchess of Sussex is happily married with two children in her life. And that is the most important thing.
