Meghan McCain has mocked claims that Meghan Markle could become United States president.

The US elections have already shown that there can be a few surprises. Barack Obama created history by becoming the first ever black President.
And since then, Kamala Harris followed in a similar vein by becoming the first black, female Vice President of the United States.
Not only that, few would have expected Donald Trump to make it into the White House. That was not enough to sway McCain though. And she let everybody know that Meghan did not stand a chance.
In her comments, she said: “Meghan Markle is suffering serious delusions if she truly believes that she will ever become President of the United States of America.
“There, I said it. Now can we please stop entertaining this abject stupidity?” In addition, McCain expanded on how Meghan did not have the qualities to carry out the job.
And this was something McCain felt would have been exposed should the Duchess of Sussex be on a campaign trail in front of the public and media.
And as part of that process, Meghan could not help but troll the Duchess: “Forget about your private jet or even first-class. That’ll be seen for what it is – elitist.
“You will go to the Iowa State Fair and eat deep-fried Oreos (though on second thought — that may make this entire delusion ordeal worth it).”
Much in the same way, the response from social media backed up McCain’s sentiments. A significant majority of people could not envisage the idea of Markle taking office, nor the possibility of this actually happening in the first place.
One person wrote: “Meghan as US President is possibly the maddest idea ever. And that’s up against some pretty crazy things!!!”
