Yujiro Takahashi is no stranger to the G1 Climax, while his BULLET CLUB partner El Phantasmo is in his first tournament. ELP dropped his opening match to Will Ospreay, while Takahashi had cheated to get a win over David Finlay. Tonight, they meet in an all BULLET CLUB match here in the D-Block, with ELP eager to get on the board before he quickly gets eliminated.
Yujiro Takahashi Offers El Phantasmo A Bad Deal
Yujiro would offer a night with Pieter for ELP to lay down in the ring and give up the points. ELP would consider this, hit the Too Sweet, and ask for a kiss on the cheek. Pieter would oblige – and ELP would lay down. Yujiro would get the lazy cover and was blocked into a crucifix pin for a two count. The deal was off.
ELP would hit the Too Sweet eye poke, before draping Yujiro in the tree of woe – before hitting a set of stalling dropkicks. Yujiro would bit the finger of ELP, before taking a kick to the head. This one would head to the floor, where Yujiro would nail Pimp Juice. ELP would nearly get counted out, but hit the ring at 19.
ELP Knows House Of Tortures Best Tricks
Rear chinlock would be applied, but ELP would be able to easily get free. Sudden Death would be blocked into the Slop Drop, before a Fisherman Buster got Yujiro a two count. ELP would respond with the Brainbuster, before hitting the Sit Out Liger Bomb. UFO would follow, with Yujiro being slung to the mat.
He’d kick out and hit a low blow in the process, before a running big boot and the Angle Slam. Pimp Juice would follow, and ELP somehow managed to kick out! Sudden Death would land, and SHO hit the ring to try and help Yujiro – sliding him the wrench. ELP knew this, hit a low blow, whacked the wrench off his head and threw it to Yujiro. A second low blow followed, and ELP would hit the dive on SHO before soaring in with Thunder Kiss ‘86 for the win.
This gives ELP his first two points in the G1 Climax, and could have gotten him on the right path. He’d even convince Pieter to leave with him! Will ELP finish strong? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
