Ricky Martin will take part in a court case. His former manager, Rebecca Drucker sues the pop star. She is confident that he owes her more than three million dollars. He has some ‘forgotten’ unpaid commission and damages for breach of contract.
Drucker represented Ricky Martin in the period between 2014 to 2018. However, even though the contract ended in 2018, she was called by the pop icon to ‘fix his life’ in 2020.

“He called me in May 2020 when his personal and professional life was in absolute chaos.” – Rebecca says for TMZ.
What this means is that she was helping him through his life with contracts, song recordings, collaborations, shows, concerts, sponsorships, and personal issues that he had during the period. And for this, she thinks that she deserves payment.
There is one detail that pops out in these two long years where she is helping Ricky Martin. That is the North American tour of concerts that he had together with Enrique Iglesias. Allegedly, this tour only brought him millions of dollars. And some part of them belongs to Rebecca.
Drucker doesn’t stop there. Furthermore, she states that she saved the singer from threats that he received from a girl called Maria. She doesn’t reveal the type of trouble the singer faced with the girl, but she helped him acquire some of the best lawyers in the county to take him out of ‘danger’.
She did all this, and the singer’s thank you is his swindling her out of $3 million dollars in commissions. Allegedly he told her lies many times that made her not take full advantage of earnings from the jobs she did for him. That lead to her resigning in April 2022.
And this is still not all. She says that the singer threatened her after she left him, and after she insisted on receiving the money she has been shorted off.
Amongst this ‘trouble’ in which Martin is now, is a restraining order filed against him by a past romantic partner of his. Allegedly the singer stalked his ex-partner, was interrupting his privacy, and even entered his home at one point. Ricky Martin simply couldn’t accept that the relationship is over.
However, from Ricky Martin’s side, this is all denied as untrue and as a try to put a stain on his name. How will this end we will see in some time. You know what they say. Where you can see smoke, most probably there is a fire as well.
