However, amidst the whole pointing fingers at the famous pop star Britney Spears, Selena Gomez is happy to know her.
It seems like the respect is mutual. The past weekend, Britney Spears posted a photo of her and Selena Gomez on social media. The photo is from the recent wedding of Britney Spears and Sam Asghari in Las Vegas. The wedding took place in the couple’s home back in June.

At the wedding, there were quite some reputable people, especially from the show-biz. Madonna, Maria Menounos, Ansel Elgort, and Will.i.am. Furthermore, Paris Hilton, Drew Barrymore, Donatella Versace, and Selena Gomez.
Past weekend, on Saturday, Britney shared a photo of Selena Gomez on Instagram. While Britney praised Selena’s looks, she also thanked her for attending her wedding.
“She came to my wedding.” – Britney starts the caption. “t was so cool she was able to get to me and share her thoughts. Although I’ve been forced to see people against my will my whole life … she was a beautiful surprise.” – she continues. “I appreciate ALL the mental health speeches she does for our generation. You’re such a special person and I had to share this picture… I thought it would make her happy.”
The post did not include only one photo with Gomez. But it is a multi-photo post, including photos with Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, and Paris Hilton. As the famous singer says – “The three most beautiful women in Hollywood”.
Selena did notice the praise given to her by the pop star and was completely emotional about it. She says that she respects her very much and she cannot be happier for her, as she finally found the right one for her.
“Britney-you are so kind and have the most beautiful soul. I am beyond lucky to know you. You deserve all the happiness in the world.” – Selena says.
Selena Gomez did appear on the Jimmy Kimmel show recently as well. There, as expected she receives a question about Britney and the wedding.
Gomez is brief in answering this and says only “I am really happy for her. It was beautiful.”
And indeed was. Donatella Versace was a part of the guest list for the wedding, and as you’d guess she is the one that designed Britney’s wedding dress.
