Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
Tonight is going to be a historic episode as it makes the first without Vince McMahon calling the shots, as Triple H is now the head of WWE Creative as we begin a new era, and we’ll also get to see a celebration of Rey Mysterio’s 20th anniversary.
With a couple of good looking matches and celebration to enjoy, we’re going to grab some snacks and we’ll be back to kick WWE Raw Live Results into gear at the 8 p.m. EST showtime.
Segment 1
After Heyman hinted the Bloodline got rid of Vince, Theory came out and Reigns reminded him his daddy’s not there to watch out for him anymore. The fans responded with a “Who’s your daddy?” chant.
Theory hit Jey with the MITB briefcase, but Reigns kept the peace and the Bloodline left the ring and Theory in one piece for now.
Segment 2
Drew McIntyre vs. Theory
This felt like it was supposed to be a surprise appearance by Drew as the announcers didn’t seem to know he was there, but it was a match and Drew dominated it until he dropped Theory onto the announce desk as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
Theory had a good flurry, but Drew was ready to win it when the Battling Brutes ran out and attacked him for the DQ. Bobby Lashley then came out to help Drew and they held the ring.
Segment 4
Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley vs. Theory and Sheamus w/Ridge Holland and Butch
Lashley was dropped by a Brogue Kick on the floor, and Drew belly to belly suplexed Butch into Ridge on the floor, and the ref then banned Butch and Ridge from ringside as we headed to commercial.
Segment 5
Lashley won via Hurt Lock on Theory after Ziggler distracted Theory and Lashley slipped out of A-Town Down.
After the match, Theory was met with stereo superkicks by the Usos, and Reigns rested the MITB briefcase on his chest.
Segment 6
Rey Mysterio gave an impassioned speech about his time in wrestling with thanks to many of the greats he worked with and he closed it out by thanking the fans.
Finn Balor and Damian Priest came out of the audience to circle the ring prior to their tag team match.
Segment 7
The Mysterios (Rey, Dominik) vs. Judgement Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest)
Judgement Day dominated early on, and Priest caught Dominik’s dive through the ropes and threw him into the barricade as we headed to commercial.
Segment 8
This was a fun match as Balor tried the old Eddie Guerrero move by faking being hit with a chair, but Dom stepped in to distract the ref. Rey then hit Balor with the chair followed by a 619, and a frog splash for the win.
Segment 9
Rey was attacked backstage during his celebration and Priest powerbombed him through a table.
In the ring, Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch went at it in a impromptu brawl.
Segment 10
Alexa Bliss vs. Doudrop w/Nikki ASH
This was a quick but fun one as Nikki stole Lily and tried to distract Bliss, but she fought through that and Doudrop’s dominance to win via a DDT.
Segment 11
Impaulsive TV went as chaotic as expected as Paul got into it with Maryse and the Miz, then was jumped from Ciampa. The numbers game caught up with him and Miz hit a Skull Crushing Finale to close it out.
Segment 12
AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler vs. Alpha Academy (Chad Gable, Otis)
Styles and Ziggler started out in control as Styles sent Gable to the floor with a dropkick, then hit a crossbody from over the top rope as we headed to commercial.
Segment 13
This was a fun but quick match Ziggler ended with a Zigzag on Gable for the win after Gable rolled off of Styles when Styles held onto the ropes.
Segment 14
The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jimmy and Jey Uso) w/Paul Heyman vs. Riddle and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins, Montez Ford)
This started out as a slow burn, but Riddle sent the Usos to the floor where Ford took them out with a moonsault as we headed to commercial.
Segment 15
The Bloodline took over and busted Ford open following a flurry by him, and was forced to kick out of a couple of pin attempts as we headed to commercial.
Segment 16
This was a good match Reigns won with a spear after he threw Riddle off him to counter an RKP attempt.
Seth Rollins then came out, laughed at Reigns, and stomped Riddle into the floor and then the ring steps to close out the show.
There were touches that screamed Triple H’s handiwork, but overall the show had the same feel as the last few weeks as they set up SummerSlam.
