Andrade El Idolo & RUSH have proven to be thorns in the side of former AEW World Tag Team Champions, The Lucha Bros. They’ve beaten and humiliated them since before Forbidden Door, and tonight – the issue might come to an end. It’s time for a tornado tag team match between these two teams, meaning the rule book is all but thrown out the window. It’s liable to be complete chaos – and that’s how both teams seem to like it.
Who Will Team With The Young Bucks For The AEW Trios Tournament?
Before this match would start – we’d get confirmation on seven of the trios in the upcoming AEW World Trios Championship tournament. Next week, we’ll find out who is teaming with The Young Bucks – as they face Andrade El Idolo, RUSH, & Dragon Lee. Also announced are Death Triangle vs. Will Ospreay & Aussie Open, House of Black vs. Dark Order, and Best Friends vs. The Trustbusters.
The Young Bucks have recently rekindled their friendship with Hangman Page, but he’s also potentially teaming up with Dark Order for this tournament. Who teams with The Young Bucks remains an important story to follow – and it could well be Kenny Omega himself. The tournament concludes at All Out – and is shaping up to be incredible.
Andrade & RUSH Bring The Fight
This one would start with a four way brawl – with Andrade & RUSH quickly taking advantage. Penta would hit a kick to the face of Andrade, before being dropped by RUSH. Fenix rushed in, and was suplexed into the corner. Penta managed a Slingblade, and Lucha Bros would isolate RUSH in the ring.
Made In Japan would get the near fall, before The Fear Factor was prevented by Andrade. Lucha Bros were thrown onto each other, and the referee counted simultaneously for two pinfalls – but Penta & Fenix kicked out. Andrade & RUSH would hit big dives out to the floor – before Fenix was beat with some wires on the floor before being strangled with the cords.
The mask of Fenix would be torn at in the ring, before Penta would make the save. A superkick and DDT would allow him to remain in control of the match, before Fenix would hit a springboard dive for a near fall. Double superkicks would be followed by dives in tandem from , but Andrade blocked a frog splash in the ring.
The Hammerlock DDT would be attempted, before RUSH would be attacked. Penta would take double knees in the corner, before Fenix was hit by a powerbomb. RUSH would see Penta roll into a cutter, and all four men were down. Penta looked for Fear Factor on the apron, but would opt for a Destroyer instead.
Penta Unmasks Himself To Briefly Save The Match – Who Will Team With The Young Bucks?
Andrade was out briefly, before Penta was tied to the ropes by his mask – leaving him the choices to be unmasked or leave his brother alone. RUSH would hit a piledriver, and Penta left himself unmasked to make the save. Alex tried to slide an extra mask, but Andrade stopped this and threw it to the crowd.
Bulls Horns would land on Fenix in the corner, before the Hammerlock DDT would end this match. With Dragon Lee by their side – they could be an unstoppable trio. However, it hinges on just who will be teaming with The Young Bucks.
Who will step up to team with the former two time AEW World Tag Team Champions? They’d go to ask Hangman Page in the Dark Order locker room, and express that they made a great many mistakes since AEW began. It was the building that Page won the World Championship in – and The Young Bucks wished they could have congratulated him.
They’re bad people, but Hangman Page brings out the good in them. He’d be asked to join the tournament with them, but it’s his tournament to back Dark Order. Page isn’t in the tournament, but in the corner of Dark Order – and he’s sorry to tell Young Bucks that. However, they’ll find someone by next Wednesday
