Jado & Tama Tonga have been on the wrong side of many fights this tour, mainly clashing with their old BULLET CLUB allies. However tonight, they’re promised a more fair fight – as they face David Finlay & Kosei Fujita. Finlay has been on fire lately, with wins over Shingo Takagi, Juice Robinson, and Will Ospreay boosting ihim up – and Tama won’t be overlooking him tonight.

Kosei Fujita Impresses His Hometown Crowd – Still Gets Tapped Out BY Tama Tonga

Fujita was the hometown boy coming into this match, and would start alongside Jado. They’d lock up to begin, with Fujita taking Jado to the ropes before a kick to the midsection. Jado fired back with a shoulder tackle, before some heavy chops.

Fujita was dropped by a flurry of forearm smashes – and Tama would tag in and keep the pressure on. A dropkick would allow Finlay to receive the tag, and he’d run down Jado & Tama with fast shoulder tackles. Snap suplex would get a two count, before a russian leg sweep would get Tama the advantage.

Irish Curse backbreaker would land, before Fujita hit a dropkick and bodyslam on Tama. Boston crab was applied, but Jado broke things up to save Tama. A series of pinfall attempts failed to get Fujita past two, before the sharpshooter got the finish. Another loss for Fuijta, but he’d get helped to his feet and had a moment to thank the fans after the bell.

Will Ospreay Rocks Tom Lawlor With A Dangerous Kick

While Will Ospreay won’t be facing Tom Lawlor in tournament action, their tag team clash tonight could be the biggest of the tour for Lawlor. He’s got a chance to potentially defeat the IWGP United States Champion, and earn a title shot. With Royce Isaacs in his corner, he will look to isolate and destroy Ospreay, and show why he was the king of NJPW Strong for so long.

O-Khan would kick things off with Lawlor, and they’d sprawl for control on the mat to a stalemate. Lawlor would pop O-Khan up and into an armbar attempt, but was unable to break the grip before being kicked in the head by Ospreay. O-Khan would focus in on Lawlor, before Ospreay would get kicked in the jaw and hit with the spinebuster.

Isaacs got the tag and pummelled Ospreay in the corner with some lariats, before the Falcon Arrow was blocked into a stunner. OsCutter was attempted, but Ospreay was caught into a German Suplex for two. Bicycle kick would get O-Khan a two count on Isaacs, before applying the Sheep Killer for the win. Lawlor was not the same after the kick to the head, and that was enough to allow United Empire to claim the win.

SANADA Actually Gets The Win With Skull End

Suzuki-gun & Los Ingobernables de Japon are two factions with a lot in common, not being afraid to bend the rules if it means a win. Tonight, Lance Archer, TAKA Michinoku & Zack Sabre Jr. will meet BUSHI, SANADA & Shingo Takagi – and seeing Archer clash with Takagi is something fans in Japan are keen on seeing.

Suzuki-gun would attack before the bell like always, with Shingo taken to the floor by Archer. BUSHI & Michinoku would stay in the ring and fight, with Archer getting involved to throw BUSHI around at the first signs of danger. ZSJ got in on the fun as he bent and ankle of BUSHI on the apron, before Archer threw him across the ring with a suplex.

BUSHI was isolated in the corner by Suzuki-gun, before ZSJ applied the ankle lock. He’d lose control and take the basement dropkick, before Shingo & Archer hit the ring. ZSJ would look to help Archer out, but the former World Heavyweight Champion threw ZSJ aside before dropping Archer with the lariat.

SANADA would get the tag and run into a Cobra Twist, before Michinoku hit a knee to the jaw. SANADA would fight off an attack from Archer, before BUSHI hit a Codebreaker to set up Skull End – and this one was over just like that.

Never Leave Gedo Alone

Every time Kazuchika Okada & Jay White meet it is a big deal, even with an ten man tag team match. Tonight, Okada brings his CHAOS mates of YOSHI-HASHI, Tomohiro Ishiii Hirooki Goto & Toru Yano, while White has KENTA, Gedo, Bad Luck Fale, and El Phantasmo. CHAOS would be wise to try and isolate Gedo tonight, as he stands out as a weak link.

Okada & White would start, and White would try to get a sneak attack and failed. Fale hit the ring, and was quickly sent to the floor. Ishii got the tag, before being met by KENTA. CHAOS would beat their opposition down, before White hit a DDT on Ishii for a one count. ELP would get the back rake on Ishii, but again Ishii would not stay down for the pinfall.

Fale would throw some heavy blows to keep the pressure on, before Ishii fired up and hit White with the backdrop driver. KENTA would get the tag, and had Fale beaten down onto him after being dropped. Gedo & White would take the fight to CHAOS, before things broke down into a brawl – ending with Yano rolling up Gedo.
