We know them as Hugh Hefner’s favorite girlfriends. They enjoyed his company and the Playboy mansion privileges for a long time. However, now it seems that these privileges didn’t come for free.
Five years after Hugh’s death, his two most popular girlfriends come out to confess something. According to them, the Playboy founder was blackmailing them to participate in unprotected sex orgies with him if they want to continue enjoying their Playboy mansion privileges.

These two beautiful women were inducted into what was known as Hugh’s ‘inner circle’, and they both publicly dated him. They had a label of being his ‘main girlfriends’.
A&E recently published a documentary on that how life inside the Playboy mansion actually was. The documentary called the ‘Secrets of Playboy” reflects the exact experience that playmates had when inducted into the mansion. As it turns out, it was not as shiny and beautiful as it appears at first sight.
While taking part in Heather McDonald’s podcast, the playboy bunnies opened up and spoke with no ‘censure’ about what was actually happening inside the mansion. Unprotected sex with Hugh was the very least of it.
“I was still just gonna watch and then [one of the other Playmates] was like, ‘Aren’t you gonna go?’ It was like, ‘You need to go.’ And I was like, ‘I would rather not.’ And she’s like, ‘Well, then you probably won’t be invited back.” – Marquardt reflects on the first time she was in. “So then I was like, ‘OK.’ And I’d seen what everybody else was doing, so I knew that this was, like, a 10-second thing. I mean, definitely no more than a minute.”
The ex-Playboy bunnies shared that they felt afraid for their health. There were girls ‘coming and going’ all the time. What this means is that they had sex with Hugh or someone who regularly participates in these orgies. As a consequence, if the new models had ‘something’, transferring it to them would have been inevitable.
“You were hoping everyone’s in the same situation, and there is a doctor on staff. You’re hoping that doctors check out everybody regularly, and everybody is – I say this in quotes – ‘monogamous’ to that relationship. But you don’t know.” – Marquardt opened. “If there are new girls coming up, which there often were, like, I just wanted to be first. And I felt like that was the cleanest way.”
Even though all this happened to them, they claim that Hef was indeed a good guy. They would not trade the time spent with him for anything else.
