Prince Harry wants to distance himself from his father Prince Charles and Prince William by being viewed like his late mother Princess Diana.
Prince Harry Wants To Distance Himself From Cheater Charles And His Brother William By Following Diana-‘He Wants To Be Trusted As Diana Was’
That is according to Diana’s former police protection officer Ken Wharfe. It is no secret that Charles is one of the most unpopular members of the Royal family.
His own conduct has not helped things in that regard, which was most notably summed up by his affair with Duchess Camilla.
In addition, his recent sagas including the Qatari cash scandal and and receiving money from terrorist Osama bin Laden’s relatives for his charity have not gone down well.
And given the fact that Charles is next in line to the throne, that has not gone well with the populous. Meanwhile, the ‘Prince of Pegging’ scandal has cast negative rumours about William’s conduct.
In contrast, Diana was seen as one of the most popular members of the Royal family. And as she spoke about her unhappiness about being trapped in the Royal family, there were equal parallels with Harry who was very vocal during his Oprah Winfrey interview.
With that being said, this is what Ken had to say in his book, ‘Diana: Remembering the Princess: “Harry doesn’t want to be seen as the same sort of man as his brother and father.
“Instead, he wants to be trusted as Diana was. He isn’t coming back yet but it did leave the door open, and he isn’t ruling anything out.” Nevertheless, the response on social media towards Harry was very brutal.
A significant proportion of people were of the view that he was failing to live up to his desire to follow Diana’s footsteps. And in doing so, the comments were very derogatory indeed.
One person wrote: “How can you trust a man who knowingly gave an interview to OW as he lay dying and THEN refused to attend his memorial service? Total disrespect makes for zero trust.”
Time will tell what legacy Harry does end up leaving behind. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
