The main reason why they cannot get to an agreement is the custody of their children. Both partners try to ‘pull’ the custody to their side, which led to complications.

While Shakira is completely devoted to solving the issue, Pique is already having a new love. He again found love with the 23-year-old woman he met at his production company Kosmos.
The main issue over the custody is the place where the children will continue to live. After the breakup, Pique is pushing on that the children stay in Barcelona with him, while the Colombian Shakira wants to take them with her to Miami. Months have passed, and the couple didn’t meet at any point in the agreement. And now, since the children need to start going to school, they are uncertain where they will need to go.
According to worldwide newsletters, the situation is certain to go to court. And this is an issue for the Colombian singer. She is already facing one major legal dispute. The Public Prosecutor is accusing her of numerous offenses that are tax related. This court case might end up with her going to prison for as long as eight years.
The court case between the two public figures will not be an easy one. Allegedly both of them have their propositions on how to solve the situation, however, they are not mutually acceptable. The court will need to find a way to combine both and find a solution that will be acceptable for both, Pique and Shakira.
Additional to all this, Pique is exacting revenge on his former spouse following their breakup. She is weighing in on that the children stay with her, so he decides to ‘provoke’ her any way he can.
Allegedly, his parent’s house is next to Shakira’s house, so he often visits his parents now. However, he does not go there alone. He is bringing his new girlfriend with him, the 23-year-old model.
