Going back to early September 2022, a New Brunswick man was hit with drug trafficking and weapons charges after he was caught with meth, coke, and hydromorphone pills.
On September 3, 2022 Robert Wayne Waugh (44) was arrested by officers with the RCMP out of Oromocto. The arrest happened at 3 AM after authorities received a call about a suspicious car in the middle of Route 7 which passes through Sunbury County.

Also found among the drugs were paraphernalia, illegally-gained cigarettes, bogus inspection stickers, firearms, and ammo. In provincial court later that day, he was hit with several charges related to carrying a concealed weapon, trafficking meth, possession of contraband cigarettes, and having ammunition while prohibited.
The following week on September 9, Waugh was slapped with purpose of trafficking charges on the cocaine and hydromorphone pills that were seized. He is a plea hearing slated for September 29, 2022.
