Let’s head to Canada where Sûreté du Québec or Quebec Security has busted up a drug trafficking ring on October 4, 2022. According to authorities, the ring operated in southern Quebec City, Saint-Pascal, La Pocatière, and Rivière-du-Loup.
Quebec Security Busts Up Drug Trafficking Enterprise and Seize 4,500 Meth Pills and 7,000 MDMA Pills – 670 Grams in Other Drugs Seized
With so many locations to cover, Quebec Security carried out search warrants and managed a massive seizure of drugs, money, cars, and firearms—the usual. However, what exactly did authorities nab after their lengthy investigation?
The cash was only mentioned as being “tens of thousands of dollars.” I found that a bit interesting since authorities were able to count up exactly how many drugs were seized: the cash is vague.
We know it’s a significant amount to just have hidden in a trap house.
Five vehicles, a long weapon, and four prohibited weapons were taken into custody. The main event of the seizure was what brought everyone to the dance—cops and crims both—the drugs.
Quebec Security collected 40 grams of magic mushrooms, 230 grams of marijuana, 400 grams of coke, 4,500 meth pills, and 7,000 MDMA pills.
The number of those arrested and their charges have yet to be released.
