In Oklahoma, the Tulsa PD arrested a man who had twenty wrapped bags of meth in his fanny pack. On October 6, 2022, officers headed toward East Admiral Place and North Sheridan Road at roughly 7 PM in response to several reports of a man beating a girl.
Officers found the two and the girl—revealed to be 14-years-old—fled the scene on foot.

After finding her once and chasing her into traffic, authorities caught up to the girl on Admiral Place. She resisted arrest and even kicked officers before being subdued and taken into custody. While being interviewed by the cops, she claims to have had sex with her attacker
As for the man beating her, D’Ron Smith also fled the scene but bystanders followed him and gave his location to authorities. He had fled into a room in a nearby motel but surrendered shortly after.
The person staying in the room allowed officers to search where they found the meth in the fanny pack. Smith would confirm that the drugs belonged to him.
Charges against Smith include drug trafficking, possession of a firearm after a former conviction, obstruction officers, and possession with intent to distribute.
The girl was taken to the hospital and her parents were contacted. While authorities are following up on her allegations, she was charged with two counts of assault and battery on police officers.
D’Ron Smith currently sits in Tulsa County Jail.
