Virginia Man Arrested After Shooting Family and Housemate in Prince William County Quadruple Murder
Authorities arrived at the Mansfield Court home on October 18, 2022, just after 4:30 PM. The door was unlocked and officers found four victims: Miguel Duran Flores, Kelly Victoria Sotelo, Karrie Ayline Sotelo, and housemate Richard Jesus Revollar Corrales. All four loved in the house with Maine.
The Prince William County PD reported that Flores and Sotelos were related and Revollar Corrales lived in the basement. Authorities also found the gun used in the slayings and took David Maine in as a person of interest before arresting him on probable cause.
From what the police gathered via interviews with Maine, he was involved with a fifth person who lived in the Mansfield Court residence but wasn’t present at the time of the shooting. It wasn’t determined if that had anything to do with the murders.
The 24-year-old was charged with four counts of second-degree murder and two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony. However, it was only determined that three members of the household died via gunshot wounds. The fourth death is undetermined at the moment.
At the moment, David Maine is being held without bond. A date for his court appearance is pending.
