Indiana Woman Arrested in Connection to Fentanyl-Related Overdose Death
Authorities responded to a call of an unresponsive male at a Burlington residence. There they found the victim dead of an apparent overdose. On November 18, Moore allegedly sold the drugs to the victim at the Burlington house and even had her child with her.
An investigation by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office found that the victim never left the house since receiving the drugs from Moore. This led authorities to believe that the drug peddler gave him the mixture of heroin and fentanyl that took his life and a warrant was issued.
Moore was spotted speeding on November 22 and she was arrested following a traffic stop. Jennifer Moore was charged with second-degree manslaughter, endangering the welfare of a minor, trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and for speeding 9 MPH over the speed limit.
Currently, she is being held at the Boone County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
