One of best wrestlers today, even if you can’t tell is Andrade El Idolo. Whether in Mexico, NXT, WWE, or AEW, Andrade has always put on great matches. The reason why you might not be able to tell is because since he came to AEW, he has been criminally underused.
Keep Them or Release Them: Andrade El Idolo
This is a hard one, mostly because of how Andrade has gone about trying to get released.
The reason that he wants to get released is because now that HHH is head of creative in WWE, Andrade knows that he will be put on TV and used correctly.
While Vince was in charge, even though he was given time on Raw and had a few great matches, everyone could see that him and his character wasn’t going anywhere and didn’t have any direction.
This was mostly due to Vince having a serious problem with wrestlers that can’t speak proper English, which hampers their ability to do promos.
I think that there are many wrestlers that AEW has that they promised the world to in order to get them, then couldn’t keep their promise when it came to pay up.
Also, Andrade’s wife, Charolette Flair is currently in WWE, and I am sure that he wants to be with her more often than he is now.
This decision comes down to AEW not keeping a promise that they most likely made to him in order to get him to sign versus Andrade being disruptive backstage to try to force them to release him.
While this decision is almost solely based on what I personally think would be best for Andrade, I do think that AEW wouldn’t be in this position if they just did what they said that they were going to do in the first place.
This could be an opportunity for AEW to trim their roster and stabilize their locker room chemistry, which they really need right now.

If AEW Does Keep Andrade
There isn’t much that they need to do to make him happy. I really think that when he signed with AEW, it was what he wanted to do and he just wanted a place to showcase his obvious talents like any other wrestler.
Where they went wrong was to keep signing more and more talent and not really pushing any of them.
I think that if they keep Andrade (where they are obviously doing), they simply need to give him more time on their TV shows and give him some feuds to sink his teeth into.
