Ontario Truck Driver Charged with Impaired Driving After Causing Crash Involving 7 PARKED Cars
The driver—only identified as a 38-year-old man from Ontario—was driving the semi-truck down Park Street when he crashed into seven parked vehicles on Park Street and 17th Avenue East. Authorities report that no one was injured in the crash.
That fact in this case is amazing as seven cars were involved and were off to the side. However, nothing is mentioned about if anyone were inside the vehicles. Also, nothing is mentioned about other damage that may have been caused or if his driving was reckless prior to the crash.
Authorities arrested the truck driver at the scene of the crime and the truck was impounded. The driver was charged with impaired operation of a conveyance by alcohol or drug or combination. He was released shortly afterward and is scheduled in court later this month.
