Braunwyn Windham celebrated her sobriety in style, as she celebrated 1,000 days being sober.

The former star of the ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ has been through a lot during that period. The mother of seven ended up becoming estranged from her husband, Sean Burke, which then coincided with the news that she was gay.
Not only that, but her coming out story was also accompanied by being fired from the housewives franchise. And to top it all off, the global pandemic changed the way that the world was operating.
That naturally added more pressure on Braunwyn, as it could have been easy for her to have become overwhelmed by it all. Instead, she has managed to keep herself in good spirits for the betterment of her health.
In her comments, she said: “I’ve been through a lot. I have been through so much since I got sober. There was a pandemic, I lost my first job, I ended a marriage, I’ve had a few start relationships start and fail, I came out.”
With that being said, Braunwyn could not have done it without the help of those around her. She expanded on how she has been working with American Addiction Centers that had the impact of providing sobriety support.
In this way, it has allowed her to develop coping strategies so that she does not have a relapse. In addition, it has enabled her to develop very strong friends along the way that have aided her journey.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I think the most important part for sobriety for me has been those phone calls.
“Those people will pick up no matter where I am or how bad I’m doing … and they talk me through it.” It is great to see Braunwyn in a really good place, and long may that continue moving forward.
