A Colorado nurse has brought a class action lawsuit after it has been revealed that he sexually assaulted patients and took photos and videos of them being violated for the past 10 years.
The start of an unsettling unearthing occurred when Christopher Lambros (61) was said to have taken photos of a patient’s privates on July 9, 2022.
A Colorado Nurse Brings A Class Action Lawsuit to Hospital Where He Sexually Assaulted Patients for 10 Years
Officers from the Grand Junction PD arrived at St. Mary’s Hospital in response to misconduct. A witness informed police officers that when they went into the room, the lights were off and the curtain was pulled out.
The witness went in to investigate further and pulled back the curtain only to find the patient with their gown pulled up revealing her breasts and her bed sheet pulled down exposing her genitals.
The situation gets worse as the witness said they saw Lambros with his head on the patient’s stomach with his phone out taking a selfie. When the curtain was drawn back, Lambros dropped the phone and adjusted the patient’s clothes and cover.
Authorities headed to the nurse’s house and pressed him about what had happened earlier that day. He claimed to have been injecting her in the stomach for blood clots and denied taking pictures.
A search warrant for the nurse’s cellphone turned up some very unsettling images and videos involving unconscious victims in the hospital. In total, authorities found 700,000 images and 65,000 hours of video.
Christopher Lambros was charged with three counts of sexual assault. Fast forward to a December 20 and St. Mary’s Hospital is hit with the lawsuit which hinges on the hospital’s lack of awareness that this had been going on for 10 years.
Furthermore, the hospital has surveillance cameras in the patients’ rooms and should’ve caught Lambros in the act earlier. St. Mary’s Hospital issued a statement that Lambros was fired after his arrest months earlier.
