Police in Milwaukee released a juvenile who was accused of killing his mother at point-blank due to a dispute over a $500 virtual reality headset.

Initially, the law enforcement officers regarded the shooting as unintentional. After the preliminary conversation with the police about the demise of his mother, Quiana Mann, the 10-year-old boy, who was not revealed to the public, was returned to his family.
Law enforcement initially concluded the incident to be an accident upon hearing the boy’s explanation; he reportedly has “anger management issues” and hears voices.
He told the police that the gun discharged while he was spinning it on his finger in the presence of his mother in the laundry room.
Subsequently, his aunt contacted the authorities the next day informing them that the child had confided in her that he had pointed the firearm directly at his mom after obtaining it from the lockbox using a key from her set of keys.
After a follow-up conversation with the police, the juvenile confessed to taking a shooting stance and pointing the gun at his mom, age 44.
He described how he had tried to frighten her by shooting at the wall when she passed in front of him, and ended up shooting her instead, according to the police report.
He informed the officers that he had taken the weapon out of the secure container that morning since his mom had woken him up ahead of time and she refused to let him purchase the headset on Amazon.
Sharhonda Reid, the young man’s aunt, and his elder sister Brianna Moore, age 26, noted he never shed a tear nor demonstrated any regret, and had also physically struck his seven-year-old cousin on the same day.
Lueritha Mann, the boy’s grandmother, maintained he had offered a sorry to her for “ending my mum’s life,” however it was stated in a non-remorseful manner.
