Police In Connecticut Are Investigating a Shooting with Few Leads and Plenty of Questions
From an investigation of the scene, police said two vehicles and storefronts were damaged by gunfire. They also turned up a number of shell cases in the general area but couldn’t find an indication of the suspects.
Without witnesses, their best lead on hand is the victim but authorities didn’t disclose what—if anything was gathered from an interview. What was gained from the New London PD itself is that they don’t believe this was random shooting. Authorities haven’t revealed whether they believe this was associated with gang or drug trafficking activity in the city.
From the surrounding damage to property, it looks as though this was an attack where the suspects knew who their target is where they would be located—and simply sprayed the area when they figured they’d found their guy.
