NXT is a place where random wrestlers get put together as a team all the time. This is the place to do it. Before two individuals get the feet all the way under them, they should get put into a team together. Here are three makeshift tag teams from NXT that could make some noise.
Amari Miller and Lash Legend
As the saying goes, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It is rare that WWE does something that they see in a rival company. This will be one of the first times in recent memory that I can remember.
One of the hottest stars in AEW is Jade Cargill and even though neither of these women are in the same realm as Cargill but they both have potential to become bigger than her in the future because of the WWE machine.
Lash Legend is a former NCAA athlete and have a great look. While she can talk on the mic and have a great presence on camera, she isn’t the best in the ring.
I haven’t seen the most from Amari Miller, but I have seen enough to know that she is solid in the ring. There is a big future down the line for her.
This is a team that both members could help each other out and if Amari can help Lash get better in the ring, there is a chance that NXT fans could look at Lash Legend the same way that AEW fans look at Jade Cargill.
Boa and Xyon Quinn
Two wrestlers that NXT aren’t doing anything with. When they were both signed, there were high hopes for them but neither one panned out. Maybe they were rushed to try to capitalize on the market that they could bring in.
I wouldn’t say that their careers are done but I will say that they are close to being either done or released very soon.
A tag team with these two could be big, especially in NXT. There is space on the brand for a new team to get over and become big. I am not sure whether either one would be big as singles stars after the team ends, but if they stay as a team, they could even move up the ladder on the main roster.
Both guys are solid but not great in the ring. The last time I remember seeing either of these guys was Xyon Quinn getting squashed on an episode of NXT a month or two ago.
Brooklyn Barlow and Sol Ruca
The real idea of this team is to get Sol Ruca over. She has superstar written all over her. From the matches that I have seen her in, she was pretty good, especially for the amount of experience that she has.
Brooklyn also have limited in ring experience but they are both young and have the chance to grow together. It is possible that this team can become a very popular team and end up staying together, but eventually, Sol Ruca is going to become a singles wrestler most likely.
This does not mean that Brooklyn Barlow don’t have a future. Fans already seem like they like Sol Ruca and Barlow could get a rub from her. Her best bet is to try her best to get better than Ruca in the ring in order to still have a place after the team is over.
