Actress Emma Roberts has taken to Instagram to call out her mother for revealing a picture of her son Rhodes’ face without her knowledge.
On Thursday, Roberts reposted a picture to her Instagram Story that her mother, Kelly Cunningham posted her 2-year old’s picture to Instagram last week “without asking.”

She wrote, “When your mom posts your sons face without asking but you love them both so whatever 💖.” Cunningham later took to Instagram and poked fun at her daughter’s message, writing, “The battle continues!!🤣🤣 I love you Q!! Touche’. It was not the first time she shared something about her mother via social media.
In 2020, she said that her mom accidentally shared the news about her pregnancy. “I was keeping my pregnancy pretty low-key, but unfortunately my mother has Instagram. Mothers and Instagram, it’s a bad combination,” Roberts told Jimmy Kimmel. “She spilled the beans.”
The actress said that her her mom started to DM fans on Instagram and accidentally told them she was pregnant. “It was a disaster, and I found it all out on a plane so I couldn’t get to her, I couldn’t call her or attack her,” she said. “I could just iMessage with her and DMed her and ask her to please stop.”
“She was like, ‘Thank you so much for the well wishes, we are so excited,’ ” she recalled of her mother’s messages to some of her fans. “My friends were sending me screengrabs, it was like unbelievable. And then when I said to her, ‘Mom you revealed my pregnancy,’ she goes, ‘Emma, you announced it.’ And I said, ‘No I didn’t, that was a tabloid.’ She was like, ‘Oh, that wasn’t clear.'”
Roberts who shares son Rhodes with Garrett Hedlund, her ex has kept her son out of the public eye, only sharing pictures of him where his face isn’t visible. She posted an adorable snap of them spending time at the park, and captioned it with “Park day with my angel boy ❤️.”
