Ashley faced some delays in telling her brother that he is not doing the right thing by dating and even getting engaged to Diane.
The news of Phyllis death hit her and she had that to focus on. Just like Phyllis, Ashley thinks Diane is not a changed person as she had claimed.
She has no love for the woman who her brother is about to get married to, and she wants her brother to know how she feels about his choice.

As expected, Jack has turned deaf ears on everyone – even his sister. He won’t let anyone convince him to leave the love of his life, Diane. As for what his sister has to say about his engagement, he does not care.
His mind is made up. Despite Jack’s stubbornness, Ashley stands her ground with him. She tells him how she feels, but that doesn’t mean her brother will listen or change his mind about Diane anytime soon, though.

Elsewhere on ‘Young and the Restless’, Kyle is unable to connect with Summer. Summer is grieving her mother, following her fake death, so she is pushing everyone away from her – including Kyle.
Also, it appears that Summer blames her mother-in-law for her mother’s death. This might cause very serious issues between the couple. Will Summer let her husband be there for her during this hard time? Will their marriage survive this?
