Tomorrow night at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door – fans get a dream match as Chris Jericho faces Sting for the first time ever. It will be in the form of a trios match, as Jericho teams with his protege Sammy Guevara and the legendary Minoru Suzuki.

Sting has his friend Darby Allin, and a third man in mind – who he will reveal tonight live on AEW Collision. It was described as an enemy from Jericho’s past. Given his many years in the industry, this could be anyone – and there will be very little time to prepare.

Tetsuya Naito Ready For Another Victory Over Chris Jericho

Before this announcement could happen, Jericho would hit the ring with a baseball bat in hand, and Minoru Suzuki close behind him.

He’d tell Tony Schiavone to shut up, before saying that the Toronto crowd needs to stop treating him like he’s one of their own – after all, he’s from Winnipeg. Jericho & Suzuki are in bad moods due to this announcement being teased, because who can they get who is tougher than the two time King Of Pancrase?

They would target Schiavone, thinking he knew the partner was – ready to beat it out of him. Sting’s music would hit, saving Schiavone from damage. The crowd would take in seeing Jericho & Sting in the same ring, and started a ‘Holy shit’ chant in result. Allin would take the microphone, and say that this tag partner once kicked Jericho’s ass in the Tokyo Dome.

The crowd would start a Tetsuya Naito chant, as the leader of Los Ingobernables De Japon’s music would hit. One of the most decorated men in modern New Japan Pro Wrestling, Tetsuya Naito is a man who has history with Jericho & Suzuki.

Naito was not involved with Forbidden Door last year, but has returned to North America for a major match. Jericho & Suzuki would leave the ring as Naito arrived – but tomorrow, they can’t avoid their destiny… or their Destino.

Miro Forsakes His Cowardly God After A Year Of Exile

Miro made quick work of Tony Nese last week on AEW Collision, proving that The Redeemer has not missed a step during his time away from the ring. Tonight, we will hear from the most dominant TNT Champion of all time – as we find out his intentions for the AEW roster on Saturday Nights.

Being in exile for almost a year, God’s Favorite Champion was summoned once again. With the power of his cowardly god, he needs to only kneel and pray to become undefeatable.

However, Miro doesn’t need the power of a coward and will never kneel, he needs to walk his own path – and thus, is abandoning his god. Destruction will still follow, as The Redeemer is ready to crush all that dare oppose him.

    Hiroshi Tanahashi Battles Swerve Strickland

Hiroshi Tanahashi is no stranger to big matches, but has never won a World Championship in the United States. Last year, he came close in a match against Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship – and has another chance to win that belt against MJF. However standing in his path is the always dangerous Swerve Strickland of Mogul Embassy.

Tanahashi would corner Swerve, but allowed a clean break before locking up a second time. Commentary would compare the physical shape of Swerve to prime Tanahashi, having that same athletic ability and size.

Tanahashi showed his athletic skills with a springboard crossbody before playing some air guitar – and passing it to Swerve for a solo, only to hit him with a basement dropkick.

Swerve would manage to send Tanahashi to the floor, and used the middle rope for a low blow as Tanahashi tried to return to the ring.

A boot to the face was combined with a choke, before trying to throw him to the floor. Tanahashi would hold on and catch Swerve with a headscissor takedown to the floor.

Swerve would block a Baseball Slide and caught Tanahashi in the apron, before a pump kick to the face and a double stomp off the apron.

Tanahashi would recover and hit a stiff forearm smash, with Prince Nana running a distraction to allow Swerve to remain on top. Swerve would drive Tanahashi into the apron, before rolling him into the ring for a two count.

You Can’t Stop The Ace Of The Universe

A stiff strike from Swerve would stun The Ace, before the diving elbow smash to the back to the head would get a two count. Swerve would try to press the advantage, but Tanahashi fired back with some forearm smashes. Both would grab a handful of hair, but after both released – Swerve grabbed right back on.

Tanahashi would hit the ropes for the jumping forearm, before a scoop slam and flipping senton for a two count. Swerve tried for the Half & Half Suplex, but a roll up from Tanahahsi would be the counter getting a near fall. Dragon Screw would set up the Slingblade, and Tanahashi was rocking.

High Fly Flow was set, and Swerve was able to get his knees up as a counter – but only found a two count. House Call Kick would land after a kick to the knee, with Swerve going up top and trying for the Swerve Stomp. T

anahashi would avoid and hit another Slingblade before slipping on the ropes trying for the High Fly Flow.

Dragon Palm would drop Swerve back into the drop zone, and Tanahashi gets his first win of the weekend. After the match, the music of MJF would hit – but he would not show up in the arena. He was on the big screen, and said that MJF won’t show up until the bell rings.

MJF intends to embarrass Tanahashi, and has pulled strings so they start Forbidden Door so he can win and go home.

Can Hiroshi Tanahashi defeat MJF and before the AEW World Champion? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
