Notable Names Including Talent From AEW & Pro Wrestling NOAH

This is a fantastic field for one of the most anticipated tournaments of the professional wrestling year. There is an assurance of overall quality with the brand of the G1 Climax – as all wrestlers strive to give their best in every match. Shocks in the field include All Elite Wrestling’s Eddie Kingston, and Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Kaito Kiyomiya.

Making their debut in the tournament are Alex Coughlin, Yota Tsuji, Gabriel Kidd, Ren Narita & Shota Umino – all having graduated from the NJPW Young Lion system.

Yujiro Takahashi is no longer in the field, breaking a three year streak of him being in the tournament. Tanga Loa is notable as well, making his return to the ring after time off due to injury.

We can assume that the four block format from 2022 returns, meaning four blocks containing 8 wrestlers. The winners of A & B Block will meet to determine half of the finals, with the same happening with the winners of C & D Block. We can expect the blocks to be announced soon, likely with the dates matches are to take place.

The tournament is set to begin on July 15th, and run until August 13th. Who will win G1 Climax 32? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
