‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things moving with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This looks like it’s going to be a fun episode as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) destroying everything and everyone in her path will be at the center of it all, and we’re stoked to see how many bridges she’ll continue to burn thanks to her selfishness and hate.
Without further ado, let’s get to the spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, June 29: Phyllis does it again
Ah, the days of Phyllis creating havoc and devastation are far from over and she’s going to find yet another way to alienate someone she cares about when Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has had enough.
Given everything he’s been through lately, Nick deserves a medal for not snapping at everyone that crosses his path, and it looks like he’s going to have his patience tested once more.
It looks like Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will be the reason for this as she’ll be at her wits end from dealing with the fallout from her own choices and she’ll need someone to talk to.
So, she’ll call daddy and Nick will come right over and she’ll update him on everything after he’ll coax her.
He won’t waste anytime in becoming the protective father and absolve Summer of all wrong doing and try to prop her up with hope that she and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) can work through this.
In the process, “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect him to be not so gentle with Phyllis as he’ll lay the entire blame on her shoulders.
While Summer deserves her share for her choices, we understand where he’s coming from. Just like when Phyllis told her not to do anything to help her and Summer did anyway. In the end, it’s the choices that don’t work out that are the most painful.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, June 29: Coming together
Phyllis will have a couple of allies at least as Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman), and once Michael fills her in on Phyllis’ visit they’ll start to talk over her chances.
Lauren will have every confidence in Michael, while he’ll point out a lot of it depends on Phyllis and whether or not she gives herself up.
At the moment, she’s intent on not doing that until she can get off free and clear, and that’ll put Summer in danger for covering for her.
As it stands, we don’t envy Michael. Phyllis did kill in self defense, but the rest of her actions are totally on her and she shouldn’t get a slap on the wrist. It’s time for her to prove she’s better than Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) like she claimed all along.
Will Phyllis make it easy on herself and everyone and turn herself in or keep making things as hard as possible? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
