The Outcasts have collapsed – after Toni Storm would cost Ruby Soho her chance to finally become the TBS Champion at All Out. Storm would later say in an interview that events of All Out were ‘fuzzy’ in her mind.
However, Soho & AEW Women’s World Champion Saraya are still united – and tonight have a chance to speak about their future.
Saraya To Return To New York As AEW Women’s World Champion
Speaking with Renee Paquette backstage, The Outcasts were asked about Storm being ‘forgetful’ about screwing Soho out of the belt. Storm has lost her mind – and Saraya intends to simply knock some sense into her. Saraya is feeling confident as champion – and will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship at Grand Slam.
In 2022, she made her debut for AEW at the event. This year she will defend against the winner of a Fatal Four Way match, including Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, Nyla Rose, and Toni Storm. All former AEW Women’s World Champions – and all ready to get back to the top, especially Shida & Storm.
Eddie Kingston & Claudio Castagnoli Put It All On The Line For Grand Slam
Tony Schiavone had a chance to sit down with the ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli & Eddie Kingston. Their issues have gone back a decade – all because Castagnoli left the indies without a word.
They lived together, met each other’s parents, travelled together – but Castagnoli is now embarrassed by Kingston as a person as a wrestler. Castagnoli wants another chance to embarrass Kingston, and will have the chance at AEW Grand Slam.
Kingston is willing to put the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship on the line, but when Castagnoli wins – he expects Kingston to shake his hand and admit he’s the better man.
The lack of respect has been something that has driven their feud – with Kingston simply thinking Castagnoli is too condescending, and Castagnoli thinking Kingston is better. It could finally come to an end at Grand Slam with one handshake.
Bullet Club Gold Takes Down Three Top Luchadors
Bullet Club Gold are proving to be one of the best factions in the world. After defeating FTR & The Young Bucks last Sunday for All Out – they are ready for another big victory.
Tonight, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn & Colton Gunn are in action against an all star team of luchadors. Gravity, Aerostar and Dios Del Inframundo are ready to use their speed and skill to drop Bullet Club Gold in their own ring.
Gravity would start the match, and used his speed to try to cut Colton down. Inramundo would hit a knee strike, before being met with jabs from Robinson and the Left Hand Of God.
Watching this match backstage was Andrade El Idolo. Aerostar would help Gravity chop away at the chest of Robinson, before Austin would save Robinson from a double lariat.
Colton hit from behind with a double lariat of his own, before Robinson hit the jumping senton on Gravity. A big stunner would give Gravity the chance for an tag.
Aerostar would use his speed to cut down Robinson, before being met by The Gunns. Inramundo would get the tag, and Gravity tried to make the save before taking 310 To Yuma. Robinson planted Inramunda with the modified DDT – and scored the victory.
Will The Gunns get their shot at FTR soon? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
