Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara have been close friends since the start of AEW Dynamite, and tonight – will face off in a first time ever singles match.
This issue stems from Guevara being frustrated being stuck in the shadow of Jericho, and feeling he needs to defeat his mentor to reach that next level.
Jericho feels the same way, and intends to drag that next level out of Guevara tonight at AEW Grand Slam – by giving him the worst beating of his career.
