Chrishell Stause has opened up on her recent relationship with Jason Oppenheim now that the pair are no longer together.
Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause Admits That Keeping Her Relationship With Jason Oppenheim Under Wraps Was Like ‘Two Kids Smoking In The Bathroom’
The two decided to call it quits after dating each other for around 5 months, but prior to it coming out in public, it looks as though the pair had decided to keep things very low-key.
But the process of doing that was always going to be difficult by virtue of the fact that being on a hit show such as ‘Selling Sunset’ was bound to have gotten the attention of the media. And that is precisely what looked to have happened.
In an official statement, Chrishell said: “Several times, we barely escaped getting caught by paparazzi, and we were starting to see posts on pop culture Instagram accounts speculating that something was going on between us.
“We got tired of hiding like two kids smoking in the bathroom.” But when they did decide to reveal their relationship, not everyone was convinced.
There was a feeling that this had come out of the blue, with even some suggesting that it was done to generate publicity. But behind the scenes, they had a connection that not many people knew about.
It was the manner in which Jason had always been there for Chrishell during her most difficult times, which is what drew them closer together.
She added: “Jason was there for every breakup I had, and every bad day, and we became close through all those conversations. He became my best friend.”
But ultimately, a friendship is where it stopped. Reports indicated that they could not agree on their long-term goals, with Chrishell reportedly wanting to start a family, while Jason could not commit to such a thing.
But in the aftermath of their split, they spoke on how they would still stay on good terms with each other.
Chrishell’s following comments confirmed as much: “One thing I am sure of is that we will always have an enormous amount of love, respect and friendship between us.”
Not many breakups end in a good way, so when they do, both sides should be praised. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
