Team Six Or Nine Defeat Suzuki-Gun, Get Jumped By BULLET CLUB
El Desperado has SHO breathing down his neck looking for a shot at the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. However, tonight he’s got a chance to earn a shot at IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team gold, as he teams with TAKA Michinoku to take on the current champions – Master Wato & Ryusuke Taguchi.
Wato would kick off action with El Desperado, grabbing a side headlock and refusing to let go when shoved. Desperado would get free before taking a set of arm-drags and the rolling solebutt,. On the outside, Suzuki-Gun would get the upper hand, using the steel barricades and ring apron to beat the champions down.
Back into the ring, Michinoku would nail some knee strikes, before handing things off to Desperado for some stomps. Wato would nail the roundhouse kick to get the opening for a tag, and Taguchi soared in with the springboard hip attack.
Michinoku got the tag and looked for the Just Face Lock – but ended up in the Ankle Lock instead. Desperado made the save, only got Wato to take him out to the floor – and Taguchi reapplied the hold for the win. BULLET CLUB’s Cutest Tag Team would attack the champions after the bell, with the assist from Chase Owens, Gedo & Bad Luck Fale. Guerrillas Of Destiny made the save, and they’re fittingly up next on the card!
You Don’t Run From Guerrillas Of Destiny
Guerrillas Of Destiny would go after BULLET CLUB as they fled to the back, before pulling their opponents back to the ring. Jado would take the fight to his long time ally of Gedo, while Tama Tonga punched out Chase Owens. Gedo was thrown into the ring, but Fale made the save before Jado could get the upper hand.
Jado would get stomped out by Chase Owens, before a punch to the jaw. Fale & Owens would pose on the back of Jado, before getting a two count off the pin. Fist drop from Gedo would get a near fall, before Jado managed a lariat – but was unable to complete the tag.
Fale would nail some hard strikes, before missing the tackle in the corner. Guerrillas Of Destiny hit the ring and nailed a double back drop, before a back suplex got Jado a two count over Owens. Gedo yanked the Guerrillas Of Destiny of the ring, but Jado looked for a superkick in the ring. Gedo had the brass knuckles, and this caused the distraction.
