It has been no secret that WWE commentator Corey Graves is with former Smackdown and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Carmella are a couple. They recently both got a show on the WWE YouTube channel, and got married just after Wrestlemania 38. After being cleared to the return to the ring earlier this year, people are curious on what the future of Graves in WWE is – and he’s now hinted at some mixed tag team matches alongside Carmella.
Corey Graves Sees Money In A Match Against Montez Ford & Bianca Belair
During a recent interview with Wrestling Inc’s Managing Editor Nick Hausman, Corey Graves would be asked about the recent trend of couples teaming up in WWE. Graves had the following to say on this being the way to go in the future – and named a dream match for Graves & Carmella.
“It seems to be. But then again, you have to deal with Edge and Beth Phoenix, I am sorry but I don’t want to be Glam Slammed on my face. Big fan of both of them, love to watch them from afar. Miz and Maryse, might be a little bit more attainable, I would never say never.
I’ll tell you where I think the money is, and I don’t know how feasible this would be. Bianca Belair and Montez Ford. I think that’s the couple everybody wants to see, and instead, they’re getting Carmella and I, so we are just going to ride it till the wheels fall off.”
Since her initial debut on Monday Night RAW following Wrestlemania 36, Bianca Belair has not been linked to the Street Profits – despite now all being on Monday Night RAW. This could easily change in the future, and open many potential matches. Carmella is a possible challenger for Belair as RAW Women’s Champion, and could get her shot in the coming months.
