Well this is awkward. During a recent episode of ‘The Talk,’ co-host Jerry O’Connell had a discussion with his wife Rebecca Romijn about her ex-husband John Stamos. During their chat, Romijn admitted that there’s “a lot of things about him” that she still misses.
Going through a divorce is terrible, it’s awful,” she began before saying “I was with him for 10 years. Divorce feels like a failure … and there were a lot of things that I had to let go of that were very sad.

O’Connell then noted that when Romijn opened up about her past relationship with Stamos, it sounded like it was a “fun” time for her.
“I have a lot of really fun memories,” she responded. “I have a lot of fond memories of him. A lot of things about him that I miss. But yeah, it’s tricky. It’s a very hard decision to come to when you decide to end a marriage. It was heartbreaking,” Romijn continued.
The actress and former model also revealed that she happened to be in the same place as Stamos “just a few weeks ago” and it was the first time that she had seen him since their split many years prior. Romijn said that she was in a mall parking lot with her children when Stamos, who was trying to be incognito, breezed by her car with sunglasses on and a hat covering the top half of his face.
Romijn, who didn’t seem to have spoken to Stamos, pointed him out and told her kids that she used to be married to him. According to Romijn, their response was, “Whoa! How can you even tell that’s him? How do you know?”
She told them, ‘Girls, it’s because I was with him for 10 years. I would recognize that gait from a block away. I recognize the way his body moves. I know that walk. I’m familiar with his body,” she explained with a smile.
Romijn and Stamos began dating in 1994 at the height of his ‘Full House’ fame. They got married on September 19, 1998 and Stamos filed for divorce in August 2004. That same year, Romijn began a relationship with actor Jerry O’Connell. They got married on July 14, 2007 and share 13-year old twin daughters, Dolly and Charlie.
As for Stamos, he went on to marry actress and model Caitlin McHugh on February 3, 2018. Together they share a 4-year old son named Billy.
