They call him the real Batman for a reason. He is not just any billionaire who is obsessing over money, he is fighting for a better tomorrow, peace, and freedom of speech. Who else if not the controversial Elon Musk.
A couple of months ago, during the reign of the now raging war in Ukraine, the billionaire challenged the Russian President Vladimir Putin to a duel. Ever since he fires something at the Russian president every now and then. But obviously, that is not what he does only.
Elon Musk Is A Target To Russia – What Has He Done Now?
According to the Russian space agency officials, Elon Musk is held responsible for ‘providing’ internet to the Ukrainians during wartime.
“From the testimony of the captured chief of staff of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Dmitry Kormyankov. Ground-based equipment of the Starlink satellite company is delivered to the militants of the Nazi Azov Battalion. This company’s owner is Elon Musk. The Marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Mariupol are receiving packages as well. Military helicopters carry the load.” – The official Rogozin statement says – “According to our information, there is a delivery and transfer made. A transfer made to the Armed Forces of Ukraine of PO boxes for receiving and transmitting the internet from Starlink. Pentagon is responsible for this. Elon Musk is thus taking part in the supply of fascist forces in Ukraine with military communications. And for this, you will have to answer in an adult way, Elon, no matter how you act a fool.”
Quickly after reading this Elon Tweets a screen capture of the post saying: “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowing ya.”
But I am not sure if he needs to be making fun of this. This sounds like a legitimate threat to me.
After translating and reading the post in English he continues with another Tweet. “The word “Nazi” doesn’t mean what he seems to think it does.”
On the contrary to what Rogozin writes, Elon is loudly refusing to block Russian news sources all over the world. All over the world where communication goes through the Starlink satellite broadband service. As a fighter for free speech, he distributes Russian media all over the world. Even though this doesn’t necessarily mean that he is a supporter of Russia, it means that he wants us to hear the other side too. To see what they are told and what is their point of view.
After these direct attacks on Elon’s persona, he might reconsider the cause for which he is so passionately fighting. He might after all suppress some Russian media.
What do you think? Is this a legitimate threat? Should Elon Musk worry about it? Let us know in the comments.
