In “I Wasn’t Expecting This in 2022” news, comedian Andy Dick was arrested for felony sexual battery. He had been staying in O’Neill Regional Park where he was on Captain Content’s RV live stream. The arrest went down Wednesday, May 11 after a man alleged that Dick assaulted him.
Andy Dick Arrested During Livestream for Alleged Sexual Assault
The details of the arrest are sparse as to the specifics of the assault and when it occurred. Expect those details in the coming days. As for Dick, this isn’t his first run-in with the law. Nor is it his first for sexual assault or dealing with them on a live stream.
It’s definitely the first time all three have aligned. Last month, police showed up at a Las Vegas home on a welfare check after someone else in the house pulled a gun during an argument. In this incident, police are seen performing a search of the comedian’s trailer. During the search, they also looked to collect the accuser’s pants as evidence of the assault.
In 2018, Andy Dick pleaded guilty to grabbing an Uber driver by her privates while in 2019 he was punched after a man claimed that the comedian attempted to grab his genitals as well. In this most recent case, it appears to be simply the latest in troubles for the comedy veteran. This could also be a person who recognized Dick, knows what kind of trouble he tends to attract, and saw an easy lick for a settlement.
