This claim was in relation to the rumours that Kourtney and Gwyneth’s respective wellness brands have similarities, thus drawing comparisons with the former’s company ‘Pooch,’ with Gwyneth’s ‘Goop’ brand.
And this all came to a head during an Instagram Q&A session when a fan asked the actress if she was angered by the perceived similarities between Kourtney and her.
In response, Gwyneth said: “This idea that women need to be in competition is legacy patriarchy bulls***. There is room for every woman to fulfill her dreams.
“I used to fall prey to this kind of thinking years ago, so I understand where it comes from.” But it was not just Gwyneth’s support for Kourtney’s business that was striking.
She also went on to address the Kardashian’s recent marriage to Travis Barker. After having gotten legally married in Santa Barbara, California, the couple held an intimate ceremony with the full Kardashian family in Portofino, Italy.
And in order to show just how much she respected the reality TV star, Gwyneth had nothing but warm words to say about Kourtney and Travis’ future together. And by the looks of it, she is a very big fan of the two.
She added: “Now I get so happy when I see new wellness businesses there is a place for all of us.@kourtneykardash is a really good person and also #KRAVISFOREVER.”
The fans on social media were not entirely convinced by Gwyneth’s comments, though. People felt that she was not going to criticise Kourntey publicly. Thus, she kept things diplomatic by giving the expected answer.
One person wrote: “Whatever. She aint gonna say oh she’s talentless and looks like [e]very 5th person coming across the Holland tunnel.”
