Britney Spears Will Not Sit Down for Deposition Says Lawyer Mathew Rosengart
As a matter of fact, Rosengart has laid out his plan for victory in this legal back-and-forth with Jamie Spears and his team. He said that this would only go forward with a victory for Britney Spears with Jamie’s testimony. They’ve got the evidence and docs, if this goes to court Britney wouldn’t have to testify.
If anything, he’s saying this is a lose-lose for Jamie. While he put his blatant plays on the table, Rosengart has hinted at having something bigger guaranteed to clip Jamie’s wings at trial. The arrows seem to point to Pops Spears doing something funny with Britney’s money while he was in charge of her cash.
Jamie Spears pushed forward a request to force Britney Spears to sit for a deposition. He reportedly wants Britney to answer for all of the claims she made against him—especially the ones we’ve seen on social media since the conservatorship ended.
The elder Spears hasn’t gotten his wish yet but he will have to sit for deposition himself. Depending on how that goes, we might end up with another Spears vs. Spears legal showdown.
