Ladies and gentlemen, WWE Monday Night Raw is coming to us once again tonight! I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here to give you the quick hits! Below, you will see summed up results of every segment here tonight, fit with links to more in-depth recaps of the events!
Segment 1: Randy Orton opened the show to explain his assault on Edge last week, after laying him out with a Conchairto. The crowd let him have it as he basically stood silent in the ring for fifteen minutes, occasionally stammering only to be cut off with more jeers. Eventually he decided he couldn’t do it, and left without explaining himself.
Segment 2: The time finally came for the epic rematch to the epic battle last week between Lana and Liv Morgan. Liv easily squashed Lana, with even less difficulty than last week. But afterwards, out came Ruby Riott to make her surprise return, meeting up with her old friend Liv in the middle of the ring, only to of course immediately turn on her.
Segment 3: Drew McIntyre comes out to squash Mojo Rawley and promise victory against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. But backstage, Seth Rollins vows to win tonight’s triple threat, beat Lesnar for the third time and go on to face McIntyre at WrestleMania instead!
Segment 4: Buddy Murphy and AOP teamed up against Kevin Owens and the Viking Raiders in an elimination six-man tag team match. In a lengthy affair, which saw Erik and Ivar eliminated from a cheating Stomp from Rollins and an injury respectively, Owens fought back as hard as he could, eliminating Buddy, Akam and almost getting rid of Rezar until Rollins’ distraction cost him the win.
Segment 5: Aleister Black faces and swiftly defeats Eric Young. Then, out comes Humberto Carrillo – Zelina Vega has a surprise for him. She brings out former NXT Cruiserweight Champion and Humberto’s cousin Angel Garza to attack him! He wants to DDT him onto concrete, until Rey Mysterio makes the save!
Segment 6: Rey Mysterio and Angel Garza faced off in an impromptu match! It ended in a DQ after Angel DDT’d him onto concrete!
Segment 7: Charlotte Flair comes out to announce who she will be facing at WrestleMania. But during this, Rhea Ripley’s theme hits! She makes her Raw debut to go toe to toe with Charlotte and demand that she go after her at WrestleMania!
Segment 8: Asuka defeated Natalya in a singles match, then took up a microphone to call out Becky Lynch. Becky answered and agreed to a rematch for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.
Segment 9: The main event triple comes, with Ricochet, Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley all vying for the shot at Brock Lesnar at WWE Super Show-Down. Ultimately, Ricochet got the win, but then was IMMEDIATELY laid out with an F-5.
