Piers Morgan has slammed Gwyneth Paltrow’s comments about men amid a penis-ring tutorial.

The founder of the wellness brand ‘Goop’ just so happened to be giving advice on penis rings in an article when she was alleged to have referred to men as “penis-bearing people.”
This was then followed up by another comment which branded men as “the people with a prostate.” This did not go down well with Morgan who accused her of using inappropriate terminology.
And in the process of doing so, Morgan put Paltrow in her place. In his comments, he said: “Gwyneth is talking absurd virtue-signaling goop.
“A penis-bearing person is called a MAN. And I say this with some confidence as someone who bears one.” In the star’s defence, it is not exactly clear who wrote the article.
After all, this could have easily been written by someone from her team. Regardless of what the case may be, Gwyneth does have a prior track record of making controversial comments.
Following her break up with her ex Chris Martin, she described the split as “conscious uncoupling” in an attempt to downplay the fact that the relationship was over.
That drew her a mass amount of criticism, as it went against the mantra of her wellness brand about being comfortable with oneself.
The fans on social media were equally condemnatory of Gwyneth’s comments. They were of the view that they could end up creating an inflammatory view of the opposite sex.
One person wrote: “I thought Megan Markle was bad……Gwyneth should be deeply ashamed of her comments.” Gwyneth has yet to respond which is understandable due to the negative media scrutiny that it would generate.
But even if her comments were made in jest, it is clear that she has offended a subset of the populous. And that is perhaps something to remember going forward.
