It appears that actor Gary Busey has landed in hot water after he allegedly grabbed several women’s butts and attempted to undo one of the women’s bras.
Gary Busey Charged with Sexual Assault After Allegedly Groping Women at a Fan Convention in New Jersey
The gropings occurred on August 13, 2022 at Monster Mania 2022 which was being held at a Double Tree Hotel. Busey was there taking photos with fans when it was alleged that he began acting inappropriately. One woman claimed that Busey put his face near her breasts and asked where she got them before attempting to undo her bra. Another woman accused the Lethal Weapon star of grabbing her butt.
After police replied to the first two incidents, on August 14, they received a called from a father who said that Gary Busey also grabbed his daughter’s behind. During the August 13 incidents, Busey denied that he’d been inappropriate. According to investigators, Busey asked them to allow him apologize to the women after he claimed “that sometimes it is possible to accidentally touch someone in a specific body part.”
Gary Busey was charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of attempted sexual assault and harassment. He is scheduled for court on August 31.
