According to reports, the duo are set to halt their plans for a divorce for around 6 months. During the course of this process, it is believed they will continue to live together and get some counselling in order to see whether they can reconcile.
This is a huge turn around in light of everything that had recently happened. Michelle accused Patrick of apparently being unfaithful to her. Meanwhile, things got worse when Michelle was allegedly arrested on the grounds of domestic violence.
Therefore, the last thing that you expected was to see them carry on especially in light of Michelle’s prior comments.
In a statement of the time, she said: “To say that I am totally devastated doesn’t even come close to describing how I feel for myself and for my family.
“The rug has been completely pulled from underneath me and now I must figure out how to move forward.” This begs the question: why have they decided to give things another go?
Well, outside of an alternative explanation to the contrary, it could have been due to the following reasons. First of all, the duo share two children together: Rhys and Willa.
Therefore, it could have made sense to take every step to ensure that the family unit did not break up since the children are very young.
Secondly, there could also be the possibility that they are willing to forgive each other’s mistakes. After all, they did not conduct themselves well in the background to all of this.
The fans on social media were not convinced by this decision. A certain subset of people were of the view that Michelle could do a whole lot better. One person wrote: “Branch should make like a tree, and get out of there.”
